A New Maxima Express Store in the Centre of Riga

This new store will be the third of the Maxima Grupe’s new Maxima Express format to be introduced in the Baltics, with the new concept having been specially adapted to the fast pace of modern life. The compact, 80m2 store will offer a carefully considered selection of important everyday products, including prepared meals for vegetarians from the restaurant Wok n Kurry, the broad Meistara Markas product range to be enjoyed both in-store and to-go, hot drinks, fresh vegetables and fruit, as well as other groceries and household goods. The new store also provides a comfortable work environment with a 100m2 service area and a lift to the basement for more convenient movement of products.

The opening of the Maxima Express is part of Maxima Latvija’s 2018 investment program aimed at expansion of the customer shopping experience by investing over EUR 23 million. Maxima Latvija is planning on reconstructing 15 stores in Riga and the regions, as well as open five various format stores throughout the country, including several Maxima Express concept stores.
